Cubitts
Cubitts is a contemporary and modern eyewear brand with
multiple shops across London. Working with Cubitts over the last five years, the work spans identity design, art direction, packaging, brand collateral, digital and print media.
Each Cubitts store is visually unique – they all take inspiration from the locations they sit in. Over the last few years, I have refreshed the Cubitts brand identity as well as their packaging suite – ensuring its appeal on a retail shelf whilst being environmentally and financially efficient. The packaging scope runs from the product packaging, to glass bottles, to POS units and trays as well as those for special projects.
A brand new zine that would be exclusive to Cubitts and given away with each purchase – be it in store or online – titled The Spectacle, was also pitched, curated and produced. Consisting of specially commissioned articles and photoessays, content around the brand, lifestyle happenings around each shop and their local areas, The Spectacle seeks to be a cultural guide for the modern Londoner.
The eCommerce experience was also redesigned to accomodate a higher volume of customers from all over the world. Transparent in pricing and process, the retail website also seeks to educate and inform the public about spectacle design and what to look for in a pair of spectacles.
